QA Automation Engineer (US Work Hours) – Contract

Flexiti is looking for a QA Automation Engineer, contract, to join its IT team. In this role you will be working on exciting product enhancements and IT projects and assist with automating the applications in Flexiti. We are looking for a skilled automation expert to join a team of passionate like-minded successful QA team in India.

What you will be doing:

• Conduct Automation testing to support quality assurance
• Create, modify, and maintain new and existing automation test-cases
• Learn existing and new applications quickly, with moderate supervision
• Analyze requirements on JIRA and build automated test cases from it
• Automate using Selenium (+ Java Automation) across Web based application in different browsers, OS and integrate with other frameworks (like Cucumber, Junit, etc.,)
• Automate solutions for APIs (example using RestAssure, RestAPI or Jmeter).
• Utilize Appium to automate mobile devices
• Execute automation with CI/CD through Azure Pipelines
• Work in Agile methodology and partake in Scrum ceremonies.

What you should have:

• 3+ years’ experience as an Automation tester role in Quality Assurance
• Experience with Selenium (+ Java Automation) across Web based application in different browsers, OS and integrate with other frameworks (like Cucumber, Junit, etc.,)
• The role would require the applicants to work from 6:30pm IST to 2:30am IST (9am – 5pm Eastern time). Interested in applicants who can join in 30 days
• Experience working on Cucumber Framework to support Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
• Experience with APIs – example using RestAssure, RestAPI or Jmeter
• Experience with Appium (Android and IOS)
• Working knowledge of Postman & Swagger
• Familiarity with Git (BitBucket repository)
• Working knowledge of Databases like MongoDB and SQL Server
• Must have a positive attitude and ability to meet timelines as per QA estimations
• Good English communication skills
• Knowledge about Agile – Scrum ceremonies.
• Knowledge of integrating automation test cases in QA tools like ALM/QC or Testrail
