Job Description

Qualification and Skills

• Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical, Engineering and 10+ years of System validation experience where multiple sub systems are integrated together
• Must have experience working with international teams
• Must be a Team player with a strong sense of urgency to meet test requirements on schedule.
• High level of self-motivation and drive to make an impact and Strong interest in being hands-on in the lab
• Strong presentation and communication skills, experience leading cross functional teams in fast-paced team environment. Hands-on Experience with laboratory test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, power analyzers and setting up complex systems for end-to-end validation
• Must have experience working with filed application engineers and translating field issues in use cases for system testing.
• Must have deep understanding of any of the following technologies. Embedded Systems, IOT, Solar, EVSE, Battery Storage Systems
• At least 3 years of experience working in Cloud (AWS), Agile, CI/CD, DevOps and Linux OS
• Experience with version control tools like Git, SVN, CVS, ClearQuest.
• Experience with test management tools such as TestRail, DOORs

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for Embedded IoT based System.
• Engage with Product Managers at the time of writing the product requirements to define the Test strategies and test architecture framework.
• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction to the testing organization.
• Help develop an overall Quality Assurance Strategy outlining specific tools, strategic approaches and expectations for Energy Management System.
• Be responsible for the creation and development of the Test Architecture.
• Ensure software deliverables meet quality goals for functionality, performance, security, usability, etc.
• Develop Test scope and test scenarios for various features and functionalities of the system.
• Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and processes to improve speed, efficiency, and scalability
• Participate in test planning for all products and own the test artifacts.
• Ability to lead / mentor a team of test engineers, enabling them with best-in class industry leading performance tools and processes.
• Assist Quality Manager in defining strategic goals and KPIs for the Quality Organization.
