Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Testing Engineer to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong passion for delivering high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Test Planning: Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
  2. Test Case Design: Create detailed and well-structured test cases based on project specifications and user stories.
  3. Test Execution: Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects, track issues, and verify bug fixes.
  4. Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
  5. Defect Reporting: Document and report defects using issue tracking tools, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  6. Test Documentation: Maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test data.
  7. Automation: Contribute to test automation efforts and help improve test coverage through automation.
  8. Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to evaluate system scalability and reliability.
  9. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a high level of software quality throughout the development cycle.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry best practices and technologies related to software testing and QA.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficiency in writing clear and concise test cases.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
