Must Skills:

  • Extensive banking domain expertise, with at least 4-5 years of experience in current projects.
  • Proven experience in handling large projects with good team management skills.
  • Expertise as a Test Manager, including all levels of testing and fundamental testing activities.
  • Proficiency in various testing activities, including Test Cases, Test Scenarios, Test Case Execution, Functional Testing, Performance Testing using tools like JMeter and Load Runner, and Automation Testing.

Job Description: As a Test Manager at Tech Mahindra, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and success of our projects. You will be responsible for leading the testing efforts, implementing non-functional testing concepts, and overseeing the entire Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). If you have hands-on experience in performance testing tools, strong expertise in stress, load, and scalability testing, and are proficient in writing performance test scenarios, we invite you to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Non-Functional Testing Concepts and STLC:
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Non-Functional Testing Concepts and the STLC process.
    • Lead and manage the testing activities to ensure the successful execution of projects.
  2. Performance Testing:
    • Possess hands-on experience in at least one performance testing tool, preferably JMeter.
    • Prepare and execute performance test scripts efficiently.
  3. Stress, Load, and Scalability Testing:
    • Exhibit in-depth knowledge of Stress, Load, and Scalability Testing concepts.
    • Efficiently identify peak failure points and conduct stress testing.
  4. Performance Test Scenario Writing:
    • Develop performance test scenarios, incorporating Transactions Per Second (TPS), and oversee the test execution process.
  5. Agile Project Management:
    • Run entire projects in Scrum, with the ability to handle Agile methodologies.
    • Good to have certification in CSM/PSM/SMCP.
  6. Defect Management and Coordination:
    • Ensure defects are reviewed, fixed, and closed appropriately.
    • Coordinate between onsite/offshore teams, customers, and support groups for seamless testing implementation.
  7. Test Case Development and Automation:
    • Develop test cases and automation scripts for core applications and new features.
    • Ensure defect-free releases of applications.
  8. Test Planning and Execution:
    • Document the Test Plan with a systematic approach, including test scope, schedules, responsibilities, reporting, etc.
    • Execute test cases and manage deliverables’ quality as planned.
  9. Escalation Management:
    • Escalate critical situations at appropriate times to ensure project success.
