Job Description:
We are currently hiring for the positions of Manual Tester and Automation Tester at BMORE IT SOLUTIONS PUNE. The ideal candidates for these roles should have a strong background in software testing and possess hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies. The primary responsibilities of the Test Engineers will include ensuring the quality of software products, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance applications.
Responsibilities:
- Manual Tester:
- Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts to identify and resolve software defects.
- Conduct thorough testing of software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand the product specifications and design test cases accordingly.
- Perform regression testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate software changes.
- Document and track defects in a clear and concise manner using bug tracking tools.
- Provide timely feedback to the development team on identified issues and improvements.
- Participate in test planning and test strategy discussions to ensure effective test coverage.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and best practices.
- Automation Tester:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools.
- Execute automated test suites to validate software functionality and performance.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and collaborate with the team to implement automation solutions.
- Perform API testing and integration testing using automation frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews and provide suggestions for improving test scripts and code quality.
- Work closely with the manual testing team to ensure seamless integration between manual and automated testing efforts.
- Monitor automated test results and investigate and report test failures.
- Maintain and update test data and test environments for automated testing purposes.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of proven experience as a Test Engineer, with a focus on manual and automated testing.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test case development, and defect tracking.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools such as JMeter for Performance Testing is a must.
- Proficiency in designing and executing test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Python, Java).
- Knowledge of API testing and integration testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
