Position: Test Engineer

Location: Mumbai (Ghatkopar, sector 63)

Job Description:

As a Test Engineer at Libsys Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to perform testing activities using Unified Functional Testing (UFT) and Automation Testing techniques. Additionally, your expertise in Mobile UFT will be essential in validating the functionality and performance of mobile applications. You will work closely with the development team and stakeholders to understand requirements, design test cases, execute tests, and report defects.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct testing activities using Unified Functional Testing (UFT) to validate the functionality and performance of software applications.
2. Develop and execute automated test scripts using UFT, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
3. Perform Mobile UFT testing to validate the functionality and performance of mobile applications.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and provide input on testability and quality aspects.
5. Design and execute test cases, ensuring adherence to test objectives and project timelines.
6. Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
7. Participate in test case reviews and provide feedback on test coverage and quality.
8. Follow established testing methodologies, processes, and standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
9. Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders.
10. Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 to 6 years of experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar role.
3. Strong proficiency in Unified Functional Testing (UFT) and Automation Testing.
4. Expertise in Mobile UFT with a minimum of 2 years of experience in testing mobile applications.
5. Familiarity with testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
6. Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and document software defects accurately.
8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
9. Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
10. Immediate joiner preferred.
