Position: Test Engineer

Location: Mumbai

Work Mode: Work from Office (2 Saturdays working in a month)

Notice: Immediate Joiner

Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Collaborate with the development and business teams to understand project requirements and functional specifications.
  2. Design and execute manual test cases to verify the functionality and quality of the loan management system.
  3. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure the system meets the desired quality standards.
  4. Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  5. Conduct thorough testing of the loan management system’s various modules, including loan origination, servicing, and collections.
  6. Participate in test case reviews and provide feedback to improve test coverage and effectiveness.
  7. Ensure adherence to testing processes and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues, and assist in their resolution.
  9. Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing.
  10. Provide regular status updates on testing progress and escalate any critical issues to the project stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. 3 to 7 years of experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.
  2. Strong knowledge and experience in manual testing methodologies and processes.
  3. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with Loan Management Systems (LMS) in the banking domain.
  4. Familiarity with loan origination, servicing, and collections processes in the banking industry.
  5. Excellent understanding of software testing concepts, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
  6. Proficiency in using bug tracking tools to identify, document, and track defects.
  7. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  10. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
