Position: Software Testing Professional
Location: Pune
Job Description: As a Software Testing Professional at Mindteck, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to perform manual and automation testing activities. You will work from our Pune office, and we are looking for an immediate joiner. The ideal candidate should have 7-9 years of overall testing experience, with at least 1-2 years of automation experience.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze user stories, use cases, and requirements for validity and feasibility.
- Execute all levels of testing, including system, integration, and regression testing.
- Analyze and understand business specifications and testing requirements to develop test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
- Possess knowledge of object-oriented programming and have coding and debugging skills.
- Worked on Selenium Web Automation using Java for a minimum of 1-2 years.
- Design and develop skills in object-oriented languages like Java and have API automation experience with tools like Selenium.
- Perform manual testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing of SOAP/REST web services.
- Test web services using tools like Postman or other tools to validate XML requests and responses.
- Conduct API level testing for web services, enhance test harnesses, and develop test suites.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate test results and collaborate with the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-9 years of software quality assurance and software testing experience.
- Proficiency in analyzing user stories, use cases, and requirements for testing.
- Strong experience in developing test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and coding skills.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Selenium Web Automation using Java.
- Design and development skills in object-oriented languages like Java.
- Experience in API automation using tools like Selenium.
- Familiarity with manual testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing of SOAP/REST web services.
- Proficiency in testing web services using tools like Postman or similar tools.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
