Role Overview: As a Software Testing and Quality Assurance professional at Yiron Technologies, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web-based software applications and products. With extensive experience in both manual and automation testing, you will be responsible for testing our Java-based ERP software solutions. We are seeking candidates with a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough testing of web-based software applications and products to identify defects, ensure compliance with requirements, and deliver high-quality solutions.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand project requirements and testing objectives.
  3. Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automation testing.
  4. Utilize industry-standard testing tools and frameworks to perform efficient and effective automation testing.
  5. Take ownership of the testing process, including test data preparation, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
  6. Provide leadership and guidance to junior members of the QA team, serving as a mentor and subject matter expert.
  7. Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and best practices to enhance overall QA efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Ensure adherence to quality standards and industry best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  9. Identify and address performance, security, and scalability concerns in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  10. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in software testing and QA to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance with a minimum of 6 to 12 years of relevant experience.
  2. Expertise in both manual and automation testing, including the use of industry-standard tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.
  3. Hands-on experience in testing web-based software applications and products, preferably in Java-based ERP software testing.
  4. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, test execution, and defect tracking.
  5. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify and document defects accurately.
  6. Experience in mentoring and guiding junior QA team members will be an added advantage.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  8. Immediate joiners will be preferred for this position.
  9. Candidates must be willing to work from our office located in IT Park, Chandigarh.
