Job Description:
As a Software Tester at Mobile Programming LLC, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your primary responsibility will be to perform both automation and manual testing activities, utilizing various tools and techniques. You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve defects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your expertise in automation testing, familiarity with relevant tools and methodologies, and strong problem-solving skills will be instrumental in achieving our testing objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct automation and manual testing activities to validate the functionality, performance, and usability of software products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide input on testability and quality aspects.
- Develop and execute test scripts using automation tools such as Selenium, utilizing programming languages such as C# or Java.
- Perform performance testing to assess system responsiveness, stability, and scalability.
- Execute regression testing to ensure the integrity and stability of existing functionality.
- Participate in the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) process to ensure smooth software releases.
- Utilize tools such as Jira and TestRails for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and debug issues, providing detailed bug reports and test result documentation.
- Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Software Tester or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in both automation and manual testing.
- Proficiency in using automation testing tools such as Selenium.
- Experience in programming languages such as C# or Java.
- Familiarity with performance testing methodologies and tools.
- Expertise in regression testing and ensuring the stability of existing functionality.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and familiarity with related tools.
- Proficiency in using Jira and TestRails for test case management and defect tracking.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and document software defects accurately.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
