Software Test Engineer | Mumbai

Job Description:

As a Software Test Engineer at AQM Technologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our enterprise risk management solutions. You will be responsible for conducting manual testing, identifying defects, and working closely with the development team to deliver high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manual Testing:
   • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual testing.
   • Conduct thorough testing to identify defects and ensure software functionality and performance.
2. Enterprise Risk Management Systems:
   • Perform testing on Enterprise Risk Management systems to ensure compliance and functionality.
   • Validate system features and functionalities against requirements and specifications.
3. Defect Management:
   • Report and track defects using defect tracking tools.
   • Collaborate with the development team to reproduce, resolve, and verify defect fixes.
4. Quality Assurance:
   • Conduct regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not affect other areas of the application.
   • Ensure that the software meets quality standards and user requirements.
5. Collaboration:
   • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.
   • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on testing status and results.
6. Process Improvement:
   • Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies.
   • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in manual testing and enterprise risk management systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience:
  • 1 to 4 years of relevant work experience in manual testing.
  • Mandatory experience in Enterprise Risk Management systems.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with defect tracking systems.
• Analytical Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to think critically and creatively to identify potential issues and provide effective solutions.
• Communication Skills:
  • Effective communication skills for reporting defects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong written communication skills for documenting test plans, cases, and reports.
