Position: QA Engineer (Manual+Automation)

Techbit Solution is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Engineer with experience in both manual and automation testing. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about testing, possess excellent communication skills, and are proficient in manual testing techniques as well as automation tools like Selenium, Web Drivers, C#, and Java.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Manual Testing: The QA Engineer will be responsible for conducting thorough manual testing of our web and mobile applications. This includes designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify bugs, defects, and usability issues. Attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset are essential for this role.
  2. Database Testing: Proficiency in MS-SQL is required as the QA Engineer will need to read and write complex queries to validate data integrity and ensure the accuracy of database operations. The ability to identify and troubleshoot database-related issues is crucial.
  3. Test Planning and Execution: The QA Engineer will collaborate with the development team and project managers to create comprehensive test plans and strategies. You will be responsible for executing these test plans and ensuring that all features and functionalities of our applications are thoroughly tested.
  4. Agile and Scrum Methodology: Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is essential as you will work in an agile development environment. The QA Engineer will participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other agile ceremonies to ensure that testing activities are aligned with project timelines.
  5. Automation Testing: Proficiency in automation testing tools like Selenium, Web Drivers, C#, and Java is required. The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to increase test coverage, improve efficiency, and expedite the testing process.
  6. Immediate Joiners: Candidates who can join immediately will be given preference as we are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in MS-SQL with the ability to write and execute complex queries.
  • Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience in automation testing using Selenium, Web Drivers, C#, and Java.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to testing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
