Position: QA Engineer
Location: Pune (Hybrid Role)
Notice Period: Immediate Joiners (15 Days)
Job Summary: As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through comprehensive testing and analysis. You will work closely with the development team to understand project requirements, design test plans, execute test cases, and report defects. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and design test plans accordingly.
- Execute test cases and perform various types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing.
- Identify and document software defects, track their status, and work with the development team to resolve them.
- Participate in requirement and design reviews to provide valuable input from a QA perspective.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- 3 to 4 years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong focus on manual testing.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and processes.
- Experience in creating and executing test cases and test scripts.
- Strong knowledge of defect tracking systems and test management tools.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile development environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks will be an added advantage.
