Position: QA Automation, QA Manual
Location: Bengaluru
Job Summary: PradeepIT Consulting Services, a reputable technology consulting firm, is seeking skilled professionals for the roles of QA Automation and QA Manual. As a member of our Quality Assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of our software products. Responsibilities:
QA Automation:
- Collaborate with development and testing teams to understand project requirements and identify opportunities for automation testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.
- Execute automated test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.
- Identify and report software defects and issues using bug tracking tools, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability and integrity of software releases.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality and efficiency of automated tests.
- Continuously research and implement best practices in test automation to enhance the overall testing process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing.
QA Manual:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to understand project requirements and define test plans.
- Create and execute manual test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and usability of software applications.
- Identify and report software defects and issues using bug tracking tools, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct regression testing and ensure the proper functioning of software features after modifications or enhancements.
- Participate in test case reviews and provide feedback to improve test coverage and quality.
- Continuously research and implement best practices in manual testing to enhance the overall testing process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience in QA Automation or QA Manual testing, depending on the role.
- Familiarity with industry-standard automation testing tools and frameworks (for QA Automation role).
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
