Position: Test Performance & Capacity Engineer

Location: Bangalore
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Test Performance & Capacity Engineer to join our team. As a Test Performance & Capacity Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance and capacity of our software systems. You should have a strong background in performance engineering and monitoring, with expertise in tools like JMeter and knowledge of API or UI performance testing. If you have end-to-end experience in performance projects and are passionate about delivering high-performing software, we would like to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct performance engineering activities to ensure the optimal performance of our software systems.
- Perform performance monitoring to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Utilize tools such as JMeter to conduct performance testing, analyze results, and identify performance issues.
- Possess knowledge of API Performance or UI Performance tools as an additional advantage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define performance testing strategies.
- Execute end-to-end performance testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Analyze and interpret performance test results, providing insights and recommendations for performance improvements.
- Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in performance testing and engineering.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, if applicable.
Mandatory Skills:
- Knowledge of performance engineering principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in performance monitoring tools and techniques.
- Strong knowledge and experience in using JMeter for performance testing.
- Familiarity with API Performance or UI Performance tools would be an advantage.
- End-to-end experience in performance projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
- Relevant experience of at least 4 years in performance testing.
- Immediate availability to join.
- Educational background in B.Tech/BE or equivalent.
