Software Test Engineer

Position: Software Test Engineer

Location: Chennai (Siruser)

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design test cases accordingly.
Execute manual test cases to identify defects and ensure the overall quality of the software.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks.
Continuously improve and enhance the automation test suite to ensure maximum test coverage.
Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to validate the software against specified requirements.
Document and report test results, defects, and other relevant information.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Participate in test planning and estimation activities.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and test data.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in software testing.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing.
Strong proficiency in both manual and automation testing.
Extensive hands-on experience with industry-standard testing tools and frameworks.
Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
Experience with version control systems and continuous integration tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
