Job Description:

Collabera Digital is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Manual Tester to join our dynamic testing team. As a Software Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues, perform test cases, and deliver high-quality software products to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Design:
- Collaborate with the development team and business stakeholders to understand project requirements and define test objectives.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on the project specifications and business requirements.
- Identify test data requirements and create or procure necessary data sets for testing.
Test Execution and Defect Reporting:
- Execute manual test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and usability of software applications.
- Document test results, track defects, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Conduct regression testing to validate bug fixes and enhancements.
- Provide clear and concise defect reports and work with stakeholders to prioritize and address issues.
Test Environment Setup and Maintenance:
- Set up and configure testing environments to simulate real-world scenarios.
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to ensure the availability and stability of test environments.
Test Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative testing methodologies and techniques.
- Participate in test process reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to promote a collaborative and cohesive work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and escalate issues when necessary.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in IT or other related fields.
At least 4 years of experience in Manual Testing.
Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
Proven experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Familiarity with testing tools and defect tracking systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
ISTQB or any other relevant testing certification is a plus.
