Duties and Responsibilities:

As an SFDC QA, your responsibilities will include:

  • Test Case and Test Plan Development: Write comprehensive test cases and test plans, ensuring that they are properly documented. Design test cases that provide sufficient coverage of business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Functional, Smoke, Integration, and Regression Testing: Perform functional, smoke, integration, and regression testing on Salesforce applications. Ensure that all testing activities are aligned with project requirements and meet the defined quality standards.
  • Mapping Business Requirements: Ensure that business requirements are properly mapped to the functional specifications and that they have adequate test coverage. Collaborate with the development team and key business users in Agile development projects.
  • Test Planning in Agile Projects: Attend scrum review meetings and work closely with the development team to develop targeted test plans and test cases. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Improving Testing and Quality Processes: Contribute to the definition and rollout of improvements to testing and quality processes. Work towards more efficient ways of testing by leveraging the best tools and methodologies available in the market.
  • Test Strategy and Execution: Analyze requirements, develop a test strategy, and create a test plan. Build and execute manual and automated test cases, track defects, and report test results. Ensure adherence to the defined testing timelines and deliverables.

Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience: 4-7 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience on a Salesforce implementation project through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Salesforce Testing: Strong experience in Salesforce testing, including manual testing of Salesforce applications. Familiarity with the Salesforce platform, its functionalities, and testing best practices.
  • Testing Tools and Best Practices: Familiarity with the latest testing tools, best practices, and QA methodologies. Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate them into the testing process.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze requirements, develop test strategies, and identify defects. Attention to detail and the ability to think critically.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with the development team, key business users, and stakeholders. Ability to work in Agile development projects and attend scrum review meetings.
