Role Overview: We are hiring a Senior Software Test Engineer for our Pune location. The candidate will be responsible for formulating test strategies, verification and validation (V&V) plans, and procedures for web and PC software products that operate with MS Azure Cloud. Additionally, the candidate will be involved in testing mobile apps, which is a plus. The role requires expertise in manual and automation testing, including hands-on experience with various frameworks such as Cucumber with JavaScript + Selenium, Robot framework with Python + Selenium, and Postman. The candidate should have strong programming skills in Python, with additional experience in C and C++ being a plus. Experience in working with Azure DevOps, integrating test frameworks into ADO, and using Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies is highly desired. The ideal candidate should be familiar with Agile methodologies and have experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure. Knowledge of cybersecurity testing methodologies will be an advantage.

- Formulate effective test strategies, V&V plans, and procedures for web and PC software products that operate with MS Azure Cloud.
- Conduct manual and automated testing, using frameworks like Cucumber with JavaScript + Selenium, Robot framework with Python + Selenium, and Postman.
- Utilize programming skills in Python and potentially C and C++ to contribute to testing efforts.
- Work with Azure DevOps for development and continuous integration.
- Integrate test frameworks into ADO, if applicable.
- Implement Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
- Generate test datasets for testing web application flows and potentially create and publish real-time test data.
- Utilize code quality tools like Coverity, Fortify, and unit test tools.
- Demonstrate working knowledge in cloud technologies, such as AWS and Azure.
- Apply cybersecurity testing methodologies, if required.
- Perform system-level integration and validation, including setting up validation infrastructure and debugging system software.
- Contribute to DfM (Design for Manufacturing), DfA (Design for Assembly), and usability efforts.
- Conduct verification tests and analyze test results to ensure complete verification of requirements.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in formulating test strategies, V&V plans, and procedures for web and PC software products operating with MS Azure Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Cucumber, Robot, and Postman frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python programming, with additional experience in C and C++ being beneficial.
