As we continue to expand our team, we are looking for experienced Senior Software Test Engineers to join us in PAN India locations with the option to work from home (WFH) or a remote location.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Software Test Engineer at Concentrix IT & Digital TA team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You will be responsible for both automation and manual testing, utilizing your expertise in Java or Python, DB SQL, and API Testing. Your experience in designing test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts will be invaluable in maintaining a high standard of product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and execute test plans and test cases for web and ERP software.
2. Conduct both manual and automated testing to identify defects, verify functionality, and assess performance.
3. Develop and program test scripts for automated testing, including performance testing, using tools like Jenkins, JMeter, and Selenium.
4. Perform API testing to ensure the reliability and functionality of software APIs.
5. Utilize your knowledge of Java or Python to create efficient and effective test scripts.
6. Use DB SQL skills to validate data integrity and accuracy.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide feedback on testing strategies.
8. Maintain documentation of test cases, test results, and automated test scripts.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related fields.
2. 5+ years of experience in testing web or ERP software, with knowledge of Agile testing practices.
3. Strong software engineering knowledge, with the ability to design test plans and test cases.
4. Proficiency in programming test scripts for automated testing, and familiarity with Jenkins, JMeter, and Selenium.
5. Knowledge of at least one programming language (Java or Python) and SQL skills.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
7. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to take the initiative in technical research.
8. Ability to read, write, and speak English at a good level.
