Skills and Experience Required:
- 5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Experience in Mobile App Testing, Web Development, and Enterprise Software testing.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools (Postman), and processes (Scrum process).
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test scenarios and test cases with the basic Testing method.
- Hands-on experience with black box testing.
- Ability to work independently with a high sense of priority and a strong sense of ownership.
- Demonstrated high level of responsibility and commitment to delivering high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior QA (Manual) at Jitera, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your expertise in software quality assurance, mobile app testing, web development, and enterprise software testing will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Test Planning and Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and design comprehensive test scenarios and test cases that cover functional and non-functional aspects of the applications.
- Test Execution: Conduct manual testing of mobile apps, web applications, and enterprise software to validate their functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Black Box Testing: Utilize black box testing techniques to validate application behavior and identify any defects or inconsistencies.
- Software QA Methodologies: Apply your strong knowledge of software QA methodologies to ensure effective testing processes and practices.
- Postman: Utilize Postman, a popular API testing tool, to test APIs and ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Scrum Process: Familiarize yourself with the Scrum development process and actively contribute to agile testing practices.
- Test Documentation: Create clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation, including test scenarios, test cases, and test results.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.
- Quality Commitment: Demonstrate a high sense of responsibility and commitment to delivering products of the highest quality.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior QA professional with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of mobile app testing, web development, and enterprise software testing.
- Familiarity with software QA methodologies and processes, including Scrum.
- Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear and comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with black box testing techniques.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
