Skills Required:

We are looking for Senior Engineers with an expert level of proficiency in the following skill sets:

1. Manual Testing: In-depth experience in manual testing methodologies and practices. Ability to design and execute comprehensive test scenarios and test cases to ensure the quality of software applications.
2. Functional Testing: Expertise in functional testing to verify and validate that the software meets specified functional requirements and user expectations.
3. API Testing using Postman: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in API testing using Postman, including testing RESTful APIs, validating responses, and conducting integration testing.
4. Database Testing using SQL: Proficiency in SQL to perform database testing, validate data integrity, and execute complex queries to ensure accurate data handling.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for:

1. Test Planning and Design: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans and test cases based on the identified skill sets.
2. Test Execution: Executing manual and functional tests to ensure that the software meets quality standards and functional requirements.
3. API Testing: Conducting thorough API testing using Postman to validate API functionality, performance, and integration with other systems.
4. Database Testing: Performing database testing using SQL queries to verify data integrity and accuracy.
5. Defect Identification and Reporting: Identifying and documenting defects using appropriate bug tracking tools. Providing detailed steps to reproduce issues for efficient resolution.
6. Test Documentation: Maintaining organized and up-to-date test documentation, including test scenarios, test data, and test results.
7. Quality Assurance: Ensuring adherence to quality assurance best practices and contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software testing with expertise in Manual Testing, Functional Testing, API Testing using Postman, and Database Testing using SQL.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and executing comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Proficiency in API testing using Postman, RESTful APIs, and integration testing.
• Expertise in SQL for database testing and data validation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify defects and root causes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
