Position: Senior Engineer – Manual Testing, Functional Testing, API Testing, Database Testing
Location: Hyderabad, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Gurgaon
Note: Immediate joiners required
EPAM Systems, a global provider of digital platform engineering and software development services, is currently hiring Senior Engineers with expertise in Manual Testing, Functional Testing, API Testing using Postman, and Database Testing using SQL. Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
- Conduct functional testing to validate software functionalities against defined specifications.
- Strong expertise in API testing using Postman, including API endpoint validation, response validation, and data validation.
- Perform database testing using SQL to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Document defects using appropriate defect tracking tools and methodologies.
- Analyze test results, identify patterns, and provide detailed reports to the development team.
- Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in manual testing, functional testing, API testing, and database testing.
- Expert-level skills in all three skill sets: Manual Testing, Functional Testing, and API Testing using Postman.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in database testing using SQL.
- Proficiency in test planning, test case creation, and test execution.
- Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
