Position: Seibel Tester

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Seibel Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in functional testing, E2E testing, regression testing, and automation testing. The primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality and reliability of our Seibel applications by conducting various types of testing activities, both manually and through automation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end testing, functional testing, system integration testing, and regression testing on Seibel applications.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Work independently on both manual and automation activities.
• Utilize test management tools such as Octane to organize and track testing activities.
• Possess domain knowledge in Telecom (SCRM, BSS) and apply it effectively during testing.
• Verify and validate MSISDN (Mobile Station International Subscriber Directory Number) details related to subscribers, accounts, and customers using ABCL(DOX) front and backend.
• Use PuTTY terminal to execute UNIX commands and validate logs on the server.
• Conduct API testing using SOAP-UI and Postman tools.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Unix commands.
• Design, write, and execute test cases to ensure maximum coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects and issues.
• Provide timely and accurate reports on test results, defects, and overall test progress.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in testing methodologies.

Requirements:

• 3 to 6 years of experience in Seibel testing, preferably in the Telecom domain (SCRM, BSS).
• Proficient in manual and automation testing techniques.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in functional testing, E2E testing, and regression testing.
• Familiarity with test management tools like Octane.
• Experience in API testing using SOAP-UI and Postman tools.
• Solid understanding of Unix commands and ability to execute them effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage testing activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and project requirements.
