Job Summary: As a Salesforce QA Manual/Automation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce applications and solutions. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues that may arise. Your expertise in Salesforce Admin concepts and proficiency in both manual and automation testing will be critical in delivering high-quality Salesforce solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform End-to-End testing of Salesforce applications, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing, to validate system behavior and identify any defects or inconsistencies.
  2. Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications, considering business requirements and technical specifications.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand application functionalities and test requirements.
  4. Execute manual test cases and record test results, accurately documenting defects and following up with development teams for timely resolution.
  5. Leverage your Salesforce Admin expertise to validate and verify configurations, customizations, and workflow processes in Salesforce applications.
  6. Identify opportunities for test automation and design automated test scripts using industry-standard tools, enhancing the efficiency and coverage of the testing process.
  7. Conduct performance testing to assess the stability and scalability of Salesforce applications, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce updates and enhancements, incorporating them into the testing process as applicable.
  9. Monitor and report on the status of testing activities, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and adherence to project schedules.
  10. Collaborate with the development team to ensure that testing environments are properly set up and test data is available for accurate testing.
  11. Participate in release management activities, including smoke testing and regression testing for deployments and updates to Salesforce applications.
  12. Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in Salesforce QA with a strong understanding of Salesforce Admin concepts and functionalities.
  3. Demonstrated expertise in manual testing methodologies, test case creation, and defect management.
  4. Proficiency in test automation using tools such as Selenium, Apex, or other relevant frameworks.
  5. Hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning, Visualforce, Apex, and other Salesforce technologies.
  6. Familiarity with Salesforce configurations, customizations, and workflows to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  9. Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  10. Experience in performance testing and familiarity with tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
  11. Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Platform Developer I would be advantageous.
