Job Title: Salesforce QA Lead

Job Description:
As a Salesforce QA Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Salesforce applications. You will lead a team of 6 to 7 people, create testing plans, and monitor the testing process. This position requires strong manual testing experience, expertise in Salesforce testing, and excellent communication skills. Automation testing knowledge would be an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 6 to 7 QA professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and support throughout the testing process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand project requirements and define test strategies.
- Design and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test cases for Salesforce applications.
- Monitor the testing progress, track defects, and ensure timely resolution.
- Identify risks and suggest mitigation strategies to ensure the quality of the Salesforce applications.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure testability of features and provide timely feedback.
- Conduct test reviews and provide recommendations for improving the test process and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Salesforce functionalities and configurations.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce updates, releases, and best practices related to testing.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project managers and business analysts, regarding the testing progress, issues, and risks.
- Provide regular status reports and updates to project stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Salesforce testing, including manual testing.
- Proven experience in leading a team of QA professionals, providing guidance and support throughout the testing process.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce functionalities and configurations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Automation testing knowledge and experience would be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred but not required.
