Position: Quality+Business Analyst

Location: Mohali

Job Summary: Vineforce, a reputable company in the technology industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality+Business Analyst to join our team in Mohali. As a Quality+Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our services or products. You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, implementing test scripts, identifying and resolving defects, and recommending preventive and corrective actions. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure that all quality objectives are met.
  • Implement and monitor test scripts to assess the functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of services or products.
  • Identify and remedy defects within the production process and collaborate with relevant teams for prompt resolution.
  • Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure adherence to quality assurance standards.
  • Compile and analyze statistical data to identify trends and patterns, and provide insights for process improvements.
  • Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process, including usability, accessibility, and performance.
  • Draft quality assurance policies and procedures to establish and maintain standardized testing practices.
  • Investigate customer complaints and product issues, and take necessary actions for timely resolution.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements, and stay updated with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers, to drive quality improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to provide updates on quality assurance activities.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in quality assurance and business analysis.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 1-8 years of experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information effectively.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in QA databases and applications.
  • Sound knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and management tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in quality assurance or business analysis are advantageous.
