Position: Quality Assurance Manager
Location: Kochi, India

OnActive, a leading technology company, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Kochi. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application quality assurance, with experience in web-based and mobile software development environments. Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies to plan quality product releases.
• Define performance and security testing measures for product releases.
• Drive the automation team to reduce regression and enable quicker releases.
• Collaborate with product managers, development managers, and scrum masters to define the testing scope of projects and manage test execution for small to large-sized projects.
• Work closely with the development and QA teams to identify quality gaps and provide solutions and approaches to maintain high-quality standards.
• Provide technical training and skill enhancement opportunities for the team.
• Participate in Agile rituals such as sprint planning, grooming, estimates, and demos.
• Provide timely feedback and reports to the leadership team on the quality of the product.
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices and standards for software testing and quality assurance.

Experience You’ll Bring:

• 9 to 16 years of experience in application quality assurance in a complex web-based and mobile software development environment.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA Manager.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automation testing.
• Experience in performance and security testing for products is preferred.
• Exposure to AWS cloud deployments is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with API testing and test automation.
• Experience in managing functional and automation teams, with a minimum team size of 7-10 people.
• Strong experience in a fast-paced project environment, working under Agile or Scrum methodology, and familiarity with commercial and open-source tools.
• Tech-savvy with a passion for implementing new technologies.
• Excellent aptitude, communication, and team handling skills.
