Are you a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer looking for a challenging role in an innovative and dynamic environment? If so, DRC Systems is looking for you! We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at our Gandhinagar location. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through manual testing and API testing.

- Manual Testing: Execute manual test cases to identify defects in software applications, ensuring they meet the specified requirements.
- API Testing: Conduct API testing to verify the functionality and integration of software components, ensuring they work seamlessly together.
- Test Planning: Collaborate with the development team to create detailed test plans and test cases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases and document test results, clearly communicating issues to the development team and tracking defect resolution.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to validate that software changes have not adversely impacted existing functionality.
- Test Automation: Contribute to test automation efforts, identifying opportunities to automate repetitive test cases and improve testing efficiency.
- Bug Reporting: Accurately report and prioritize defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Quality Assurance Documentation: Maintain test documentation, including test cases, test data, and test results, to facilitate traceability and compliance with quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and techniques.
- Strong knowledge of API testing tools and techniques.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with development teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
- ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
