Position: Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Noida
Newgen Software Technologies, a leading software solutions provider, is currently seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in Manual Testing and Performance Testing using Jmeter. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with 2+ years of experience in QA to join our team in Noida.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
- Conduct performance testing using Jmeter to evaluate system performance under various scenarios.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop test plans.
- Execute functional testing, unit testing, and performance testing based on project needs.
- Identify, report, and track defects using Jira or other defect tracking tools.
- Participate in agile development processes, including SCRUM meetings and sprint planning.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely bug fixes and product improvements.
- Provide inputs to improve the overall test strategy and test automation efforts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of test cases, test results, and defects.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on emerging QA methodologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in B.Tech/MCA or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in QA, with expertise in manual testing and performance testing.
- Strong knowledge of Jira, SCRUM, functional testing, unit testing, and performance testing.
- Proficiency in using Jmeter for performance testing is a mandatory skill.
- Experience with test planning, test case creation, and test execution.
- Understanding of agile development methodologies and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Note: Performance testing using Jmeter is a mandatory skill for this position.
Immediate joiners are preferred.
