As a Quality Assurance Engineer at CARS24, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the flawless performance of our mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough manual testing of our mobile applications to identify and report defects, ensuring that they meet the highest quality standards.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand the product requirements and provide valuable insights from a QA perspective.
- Developing and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of the applications.
- Identifying and documenting software defects, tracking them through to resolution, and verifying the fixes in subsequent releases.
- Continuously monitoring and improving the QA process to enhance the overall quality of our products.
- Participating in Agile development processes and contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in app testing and manual testing, preferably in a fast-paced software development environment.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Familiarity with mobile testing tools and technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
