Position: Quality Analyst
Location: Noida
TechMave Software is a dynamic and rapidly growing software development company based in H-169, Sector 63, Noida. We are currently hiring for multiple positions, and we have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Analyst to join our team. This is a full-time position with a 5-day workweek. If you have 1 to 1.5 years of experience in manual testing of mobile apps and websites, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of mobile applications and websites to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
- Identify, record, and track software defects and issues using appropriate bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with the development team to analyze and reproduce reported defects.
- Conduct regression testing to validate bug fixes and software updates.
- Conduct functional and usability testing to ensure the software meets user requirements and expectations.
- Participate in the review of software requirements and design documents to provide feedback and identify potential testing gaps.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of test cases, test results, and other testing-related artifacts.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to provide regular updates on testing progress and issue resolution.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of software testing.
Requirements:
- 1 to 1.5 years of experience in manual testing of mobile applications and websites.
- Strong knowledge and experience in testing methodologies and techniques.
- Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).
- Experience in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using bug tracking tools.
- Familiarity with mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and web technologies.
- Good understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- ISTQB or any other relevant certification is a plus.
