Position: Quality Analyst
Location: Indore (Onsite)
Job Summary: MAVEN CLUSTER™, a leading company, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Analyst to join our team in Indore. As a Quality Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services. You will be responsible for performing quality assurance activities, conducting test cases, identifying and documenting defects, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Responsibilities:
- Perform quality assurance activities, including designing and executing test cases, and validating software functionality and performance.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using a defect tracking tool and ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure the quality and integrity of software deliverables.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports, highlighting any issues or risks.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and effort allocation for different testing activities.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance and testing methodologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, including test case design, test execution, and defect management.
- Actively participate in team meetings and provide input on testing strategies and approaches.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures, following organizational policies and guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Analyst or in a similar role.
- Sound knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
- Experience in designing and executing test cases and test scenarios.
- Proficiency in defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing concepts.
- ISTQB certification or other relevant certifications in software testing is desirable.
- Experience in automation testing is a plus.
