Position: Quality Analyst
Location: Chennai/Coimbatore
Responsibilities:
- Mobile Application Testing: Perform comprehensive testing of mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms to identify bugs, defects, and areas for improvement.
- Mobile Functional Testing: Conduct testing of mobile applications to validate their functionality, usability, and performance.
- Cross-Browser Web Application Testing: Test web applications across different browsers to ensure compatibility and consistent user experience.
- Browser Stack: Utilize Browser Stack for testing web applications across multiple browsers and devices.
- Agile/Scrum/Sprint: Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
- Emulator and Simulator Testing: Test mobile applications using emulators and simulators to ensure compatibility and functionality.
- Test Automation: Possess basic knowledge of mobile automation testing using Appium, contributing to the development of automated test scripts.
- Test Planning: Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and define test objectives, strategies, and plans.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases, document test results, and track defects using bug tracking tools for effective communication with the development team.
- Test Documentation: Prepare and maintain test artifacts, including test plans, test reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure effective communication and seamless software delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of testing methodologies and practices, actively participating in process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience as a Quality Analyst with a focus on mobile application testing and web application testing.
- Technical Skills: a. Strong knowledge of mobile application testing methodologies, concepts, and best practices. b. Experience in mobile functional testing on both iOS and Android platforms. c. Proficiency in cross-browser web application testing. d. Familiarity with Browser Stack for testing web applications. e. Basic knowledge of mobile automation testing using Appium.
- Agile/Scrum: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment, with a good understanding of sprint cycles and iterative development.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Location: Candidates based in either Chennai or Coimbatore will be considered.
