Position: Quality Analyst
Location: Jaipur, India
ARKA Softwares, a leading software development company based in Jaipur, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Quality Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products to our clients. You will be responsible for evaluating software applications, identifying defects, and working closely with development teams to resolve issues. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for delivering superior software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough testing of software applications to identify and document defects, usability issues, and other software quality-related concerns.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to understand project objectives, requirements, and timelines.
- Execute test cases and analyze test results to ensure software functionality, reliability, and adherence to quality standards.
- Report and track defects using appropriate bug tracking tools, and follow up with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in product design and requirement review meetings to provide input on potential quality issues and ensure testability of the software.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality assurance processes and methodologies used by the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance the overall quality of software deliverables.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices, new testing tools, and emerging trends in quality assurance.
- Provide timely and accurate updates on project progress, testing activities, and any potential risks or issues to project stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a Quality Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in the software development industry.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Familiarity with various types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools, test management systems, and test automation tools.
- Proficiency in writing clear and concise test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
