Position: Senior Automation Test Engineer (Cypress & JavaScript)

Location: Noida

Overview: 360logica Software Testing Services, a leading software testing company in Noida, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Cypress and JavaScript. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automation testing, including experience with Selenium, API automation using Postman, Jenkins, and GIT. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with international clients. As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products and will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects in an agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript
• Design and execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts to validate software functionality
• Conduct API testing using Postman, including testing REST APIs from scratch
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage and validate system requirements
• Use Selenium as a scripting language for test automation
• Integrate test scripts with Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
• Utilize GIT for version control and collaboration within the development team
• Execute regression tests and analyze test results to identify defects and performance issues
• Work closely with developers and product owners to understand requirements and user stories
• Contribute to the development and improvement of the QA process and best practices
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, if required
• Communicate effectively with international clients, understanding their requirements and providing updates on testing progress
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging tools, and technologies related to automation testing

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong hands-on experience in automation testing using Cypress and JavaScript
• Proficient in Selenium for test automation
• Extensive experience in API automation using Postman, including testing REST APIs from scratch
• Solid knowledge of Jenkins and GIT for CI/CD and version control
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and working in an Agile development environment
• In-depth understanding of the complete QA process and testing methodologies
• Excellent communication skills with experience in interacting with international clients
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor and effectively manage resources, if required

Additional Information:

• Immediate to early joiners are preferred
• The candidate must be available for the shift from 4 AM to 1 PM (IST)
