Job Description:

As a QA – Testing Resource at Vaipra Tech, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our software products. You will be responsible for a range of testing activities, including manual testing, API testing, and database testing. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and user experience of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manual Testing: Create and execute comprehensive manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Verify software functionality, identify defects, and document test results.
  2. API Testing: Conduct API testing to validate the integrity and functionality of application programming interfaces. Verify data exchange and communication between software components.
  3. Database Testing: Perform database testing to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency. Validate data retrieval, storage, and manipulation processes.
  4. Test Case Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design effective and thorough test cases. Ensure coverage of functional, regression, and performance testing.
  5. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  6. Test Automation: Explore opportunities for test automation and contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test suites.
  7. Regression Testing: Execute regression testing to validate that software changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  8. Adherence to QA Processes: Follow established QA methodologies, tools, and processes to maintain consistency and quality in testing efforts.
  9. Reporting: Prepare detailed test reports, including test results, test coverage, defect status, and recommendations for improvement. Communicate test findings to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 Years of Experience: You should have 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on manual testing, API testing, and database testing.
  • Manual and Automated Testing: Proficiency in manual testing is essential, and experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
  • API and Database Skills: Strong knowledge and experience in API testing and database testing are required.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and document defects accurately.
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
