Position: QA Tester
Greetings from Defenzelite! We are a leading software development company specializing in creating innovative and cutting-edge solutions for our clients. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled QA Tester to join our dynamic team. As a QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers, to understand project requirements and develop test plans.
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of our software products.
- Conduct thorough testing and verification of software features, functionalities, and integrations across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Identify and document software defects and issues using bug tracking systems, and work closely with the development team to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that fixed issues do not reoccur and the overall stability of the software is maintained.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports, to ensure comprehensive test coverage and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
- Continuously monitor and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the testing process by identifying and implementing best practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand technical aspects of the software and provide valuable insights to improve the overall quality and user experience.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing to enhance your skills and contribute to the growth of the QA team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role, with a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience in manual testing, test case design, test execution, and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG, is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, isolate, and reproduce software defects.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow strict quality assurance processes.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Immediate joiner preferred.
