Position: QA Tester – Apps
Location: Gurugram
Secure Nurture, a leading technology company focused on digital security solutions, is currently seeking a skilled QA Tester – Apps to join our team in Gurugram. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with 1-3 years of experience in app testing to contribute to our projects and ensure the quality and functionality of our mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform testing activities on mobile applications to ensure their functionality, usability, and performance.
- Design and execute test cases based on project requirements, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Conduct functional testing to identify and report defects, bugs, and inconsistencies in the applications.
- Perform regression testing to validate the stability of the applications after bug fixes or enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to understand project requirements and ensure effective testing.
- Participate in test planning and test strategy discussions, contributing your expertise to ensure high-quality testing.
- Utilize testing tools and frameworks to automate test cases and improve efficiency.
- Conduct compatibility testing across different devices, operating systems, and screen resolutions.
- Collaborate with the development team to investigate and troubleshoot issues identified during testing.
- Document test results, including defects, test execution status, and overall project quality metrics.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in mobile application testing.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience as a QA Tester, with a focus on mobile application testing.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes specific to mobile applications.
- Proficiency in designing and executing test cases, with a strong attention to detail.
- Experience in functional testing, regression testing, and compatibility testing of mobile applications.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools for mobile application testing.
- Good understanding of mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and their specific testing requirements.
- Knowledge of mobile application development processes and lifecycles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Experience with security testing and performance testing is a plus.
