Position: QA Team Lead

Location: Pune/Bangalore/Noida

Responsibilities:

As a QA Team Lead, your responsibilities will include:

  • Team Leadership: Lead a QA team consisting of a minimum of three team members. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members. Ensure effective coordination and collaboration within the team.
  • Technical QA Experience: Possess a minimum of 6+ years of technical QA experience with a focus on automation testing. Demonstrate expertise in writing test code in Python, Pytest, or Robot frameworks.
  • SQL and Big Data Platforms: Have strong SQL skills and experience using big data cloud platforms. Familiarity with working on data-intensive projects and writing/maintaining automated tests for Big Data projects is essential.
  • Apache Spark: Possess experience or knowledge of working with Apache Spark. Exposure to Spark-based testing projects will be advantageous.
  • CI/CD Environment: Experience in test setup, software installations, and pipelines in a CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) environment. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and methodologies is required.
  • Data Testing Strategies: Demonstrate excellent knowledge and experience of Data Testing Strategies, including data validation, process validation, outcome validation, and code coverage.
  • Automated Big Data Testing: Execute automated Big Data testing tasks, including penetration testing, architecture testing, migration testing, performance testing, security testing, and visualization testing. Proficiency in at least two of these areas is required.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and project managers. Communicate testing progress, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders and team members.

Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 6+ years of technical QA experience, with a focus on automation testing.
  • Team Leadership: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience leading a QA team, preferably in a product-based company.
  • Test Automation: Strong experience in writing test code in Python, Pytest, or Robot frameworks.
  • SQL and Big Data: Proficiency in SQL and experience using big data cloud platforms. Familiarity with working on data-intensive projects and writing/maintaining automated tests for Big Data projects.
  • Apache Spark: Experience or knowledge of working with Apache Spark will be an added advantage.
  • CI/CD Environment: Experience in test setup, software installations, and pipelines in a CI/CD environment. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
