As a QA Engineer at Dew Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the robustness, reliability, and performance of our software products. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to comprehend software requirements and specifications.
- Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to meticulously evaluate software functionality, performance, and compatibility.
- Conducting manual testing to validate software features and functionalities, ensuring they meet quality standards and user requirements.
- Utilizing automation testing tools and frameworks to create, enhance, and execute automated test scripts, contributing to the acceleration of testing processes.
- Identifying and documenting defects, issues, and anomalies, and meticulously tracking their resolution through to closure.
- Participating in exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects and potential usability challenges.
- Collaborating with the development team to troubleshoot and isolate issues, providing clear and concise bug reports.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices within the QA team.
- Staying informed about the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in software testing and quality assurance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience as a QA Engineer, with expertise in manual and/or automation testing.
- Proficiency in designing, writing, and executing test cases and test scripts.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a strong plus.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to isolate, replicate, and report defects effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
