Position: QA Manual Engineer
AM Webtech Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Manual Engineer to join our team. As a QA Manual Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through manual testing processes. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in manual testing, with expertise in API testing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute manual test cases to verify the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications.
- Conduct thorough analysis of software requirements and specifications to identify test scenarios and create corresponding test cases.
- Execute manual tests, record test results, and document defects using a bug-tracking system.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and QA team members, to resolve issues and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Perform API testing to ensure the proper functioning of RESTful APIs, and identify and report any API-related defects.
- Participate in peer reviews to provide feedback on test cases and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Continuously improve and refine manual testing processes and strategies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in manual testing.
- Strong expertise in creating and executing manual test cases.
- Proficiency in API testing is a must, with hands-on experience in testing RESTful APIs and familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies and participating in sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
