Job Summary: As a Software Test Lead at Coddle Technologies Pvt. Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating testing efforts, managing teams, and ensuring the quality of software applications. Your responsibilities will include organizing the testing team, planning projects, monitoring the testing process, conducting software tests, recognizing opportunities for test automation, motivating team members, cooperating with management, and more.

Main Duties:

  • Organize the testing team by strategically assigning individuals with diverse skill sets to roles that optimize project efficiency.
  • Plan projects by outlining objectives, policies, and strategies, along with estimating resource requirements for project execution.
  • Monitor the testing process, ensuring adherence to plans and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Conduct various software tests to identify and rectify issues, ensuring high-quality products and systems.
  • Determine when to transition from manual testing to automation, enhancing testing efficiency.
  • Motivate team members to improve morale, boost productivity, and create a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with management, maintaining regular communication to achieve project targets.
  • Write reports detailing job progress and resource acquisition, providing insights to project supervisors.
  • Conduct research to stay updated on industry advancements, contributing to the organization’s growth.
  • Define testing activities for subordinates (testers or test engineers) and oversee test planning.
  • Ensure the team has necessary resources for effective testing execution.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in software testing.
  • Proficiency in manual and automation testing methodologies.
  • Strong leadership skills to organize and motivate testing teams.

  • Ability to plan projects, estimate resources, and manage testing processes effectively.
