Position: QA Manual Engineer

Location: Ahmedabad

Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and identify test scenarios.
  2. Design and develop test cases and test scripts based on project specifications and requirements.
  3. Execute manual tests to identify defects, bugs, and inconsistencies in software applications.
  4. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure the software meets the desired quality standards.
  5. Document and track defects using bug tracking tools and follow up on their resolution.
  6. Create test plans, test matrices, and other testing artifacts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  7. Participate in test case reviews and provide feedback on testability and coverage.
  8. Collaborate with developers to understand the root cause of defects and assist in their resolution.
  9. Work closely with the QA team to improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
  10. Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.
  11. Communicate test results and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  12. Ensure adherence to project schedules and deliverables.

Requirements:

  1. 3-4 years of experience as a QA Manual Engineer or similar role.
  2. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes.
  3. Experience in designing and executing test cases and test scripts.
  4. Proficiency in manual testing techniques and tools.
  5. Familiarity with bug tracking systems and version control tools.
  6. Good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  7. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  10. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
