Rein Games Private Limited, a leading game development company, is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and performance of our games and applications through rigorous testing. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with 1 to 3 years of experience in software QA, who have a passion for delivering high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans using standard testing methodologies, including system, regression, performance, and stress testing.
- Create test plans for our games, develop manual test cases, scripts, and execute testing manually across a wide range of devices.
- Document defects and issues using a bug-tracking system, ensuring accurate and detailed reporting.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure that identified defects are rectified promptly.
- Provide clear steps to reproduce defects, and support findings with videos or screenshots whenever possible.
- Stay updated with the latest iOS and Android games and apps to ensure comprehensive testing.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the ability to adapt to fast-paced development cycles.
- Use software QA methodologies and tools effectively to enhance the testing process.
- Work under pressure and meet project deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Pay strong attention to detail and demonstrate patience for repetitive tasks.
- Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in QA testing for web and mobile applications.
- Knowledge of iOS and Android games and apps, with a strong understanding of the intricacies of testing these platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and patience for repetitive work.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
- Experience using bug-tracking systems to document defects.
- Knowledge of test management tools is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Salary: The salary range for this position is 6-8 LPA.
