Job Description:
As a QA Engineer at Octro, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and user experience of our mobile gaming applications. You will work closely with our development and product teams to identify issues, perform comprehensive testing, and contribute to the overall improvement of our gaming products.

- Manual Testing:
- Design and execute manual test cases to evaluate the functionality and performance of our mobile gaming applications.
- Identify and document defects with clear and concise details.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure prompt issue resolution.
- Perform regression testing to confirm bug fixes.
- Mobile Application Testing:
- Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications across different platforms (iOS and Android).
- Ensure that mobile games are optimized for various devices and screen sizes.
- Validate user interfaces, gameplay, and in-app features.
- Assess and report any compatibility issues with mobile devices.
- Gaming Expertise:
- Utilize your gaming experience and knowledge to understand user expectations and ensure that our games are fun, engaging, and free from issues that can disrupt gameplay.
- Provide valuable feedback on gameplay mechanics, graphics, and user experience.
- Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with the development and product teams.
- Document test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Clearly and concisely report issues and provide feedback to improve product quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in manual testing, with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong expertise in mobile application testing, particularly on iOS and Android platforms.
- A passion for gaming with a deep understanding of gaming mechanics and user expectations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
