Position: QA Engineer
Location: Noida
Hexaview Technologies, a leading IT solutions provider, is seeking a skilled QA Engineer with experience in Manual Testing, Automation Testing, and API testing to join our team in Noida. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing, automation testing, and API testing to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
- Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to identify defects, bugs, and inconsistencies in the software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand project objectives and ensure effective test coverage.
- Utilize automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, to create and maintain automated test scripts.
- Perform API testing to validate the functionality, performance, and security of APIs.
- Analyze test results, identify and document defects using defect tracking tools, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in test planning, test estimation, and test strategy discussions.
- Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide accurate and timely test reports, including test execution status, defect reports, and overall project quality metrics.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in manual testing, automation testing, and API testing.
- Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium or similar automation testing tools.
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
- Good understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
