Position Overview: We are looking for a talented QA Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. This role requires hands-on experience in Manual Testing, API Testing, Database Testing, and a solid understanding of testing concepts. As a QA Engineer at Coforge, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional software solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive manual testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
  • Conduct API testing to validate the functionality and integration of APIs within the application.
  • Execute database testing to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and adherence to business requirements.
  • Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and business analysts to understand project requirements and provide testing insights.
  • Utilize SQL to mine data for testing purposes and validate data accuracy and completeness.
  • Demonstrate a broad understanding of Angular web architecture and REST APIs to effectively test the front-end and back-end components.
  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices within the organization.
  • Document and communicate test execution results, defects, and testing progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure that software releases meet high-quality standards and are ready for deployment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 to 6 years of relevant QA experience in the Financial Industry.
  • Proficiency in Manual Testing, API Testing, and Database Testing.
  • Strong understanding of testing concepts and methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL for data mining and validation.
  • Familiarity with Angular web architecture and REST APIs.
  • Experience with any Trading platform is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications are advantageous.
