QA Engineer | Bangalore

Job Description:

As a QA Engineer at Card91, you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, performing manual and automated testing, and ensuring the robustness of our software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning and Execution:
   • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of our software products.
   • Perform manual testing to identify bugs, log defects, and conduct root cause analysis (RCA).
2. API Testing:
   • Conduct API testing to verify functionality, performance, and reliability using tools such as Postman.
3. Automation Testing:
   • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium.
   • Ensure comprehensive test coverage and effective automation practices.
4. Collaboration:
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to identify testing requirements and priorities.
   • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on testing status and results.
5. Continuous Improvement:
   • Participate in the continuous improvement of QA processes and procedures.
   • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in web application QA testing.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in automation testing, preferably with Python and Selenium.
  • Knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman.
• Additional Skills:
  • Hands-on knowledge of SQL, database testing, and performance testing (JMeter) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
