Position: QA Engineer

Job Summary: Yethi Consulting is currently seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance, with specific expertise in the banking domain. As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our banking software solutions through comprehensive testing and validation. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and usability in the banking domain.
- Collaborate with the development team, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand project requirements, features, and specifications.
- Identify, document, and report software defects and issues found during the testing process, ensuring accurate and detailed bug reports.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability and integrity of software applications after changes or enhancements.
- Perform functional, system, and integration testing to ensure the software meets the desired quality standards in the banking domain.
- Validate data integrity and accuracy through data validation and verification tests.
- Conduct usability and user acceptance testing to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on testing requirements and objectives.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of the testing process by providing feedback and suggestions for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends, and advancements in software testing methodologies and tools, particularly in the banking domain.
- Maintain thorough documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a focus on software quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices in the banking domain.
- Knowledge of banking industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with test case management tools and bug tracking systems.
- Experience in creating and executing test cases and test scripts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate defects and issues to the development team and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- ISTQB certification or any relevant testing certification is a plus.
